easter weekend

weekends are great
but three day weekends??
they are my fav.
my fav of all favs

did you have a hoppy Easter weekend?
[... i couldn't resist]

we enjoyed a big Good Friday service at my church on... Friday
And an even bigger Easter service on Sunday.
Living He loved us, Dying He saved us.
those words really stuck with me
and really made me feel very loved and very lucky for certain blessings in my life.

This was especially nice since i couldn't be home with the rest of my fam
[who i miss and was really jealous to see them riding around in my parents mid life crisis --kidding--convertible]

but my mom is kinda great and didn't let me go without my own little Easter basket that arrived via mail yesterday morning
and the best part? each egg had a little surprise. including $20 to pinkberry.
which is clearly the best place ever.

Of course there was also lots of dinners, friends, pool time and me fighting with bees...  the usual.

i did get to spent time in the sunshine which really is no big surprise to yall when i say it makes me so very happy...

[yes mom sunscreen was worn]

but most importantly... happy royal wedding week!

oh and stone... i miss you!

Sad that you couln't be with your fam for Easter but how awesome is your mom for the basket!!

And yes I definitely DVR-ed close to 12 hours of Royal Wedding Coverage last night. The hubs said "You're taking up like 75% of DVR space!"
I said, "So! I have to watch the man I'd swore I'd marry long ago marry another brunette!!"

Aw, that's so cute that your mom sent you a basket since you weren't able to be with your family. Glad you had a good Easter!
