Two Years ago...

Two years ago today I woke up long before my alarm went off.
i couldn't sleep.
I got dressed in the pencil skirt and white blouse I had carefully chosen the night before.
I jumped in my car and started my commute into the unfamiliar city.

I was anxious. nervous. excited.

I kept looking at all the other drivers.
Feeling a little bit of an outsider
But proud to be among them.

I finally arrived.
i stood outside the 14 story building looking up
Imagining my future
and what it had in store for me.

Two years ago today i started my first day of work.
I said goodbye to college life and hello to the real world.

Now the mornings are easier
the city is much more familiar
and my future is bright

Isn’t it amazing how fast time goes by?

It is crazy! I can't believe how long I've been at my job. I moved to a bigger city fro a new job and it was overwhelming at first but now it's just so normal :)

I can relate to this! I will be feeling this way in a few weeks when I make the move to viva Nash-vegas! Really PROUD OF YOU! You have come a long way from drowning me in pools to becoming a working educated independent woman! Love bro.

So true! It's amazing to think that it's been five years since my first day at university.

Now I'm even more stoked you stopped by because that led me back to your blog. And you are super cute sister.

Yup, pretty sure after college you enter some type of crazy time warp where one second you're young and glamorous and the next second you can totally relate to those once a day calcium commercials. Not cool time fairy, not cool.

It's crazy how fast time goes by once you're out of college! We need to figure out a way to slow it down!
