one's company, two's a crowd, three's a party!

this weekend was a fun one
i enjoyed a nice visit from two of my college favs -Paige & Wes --which was a little blast of happiness.
there were dinner dates, silly dances, reminising, and you know. laughing.
a lot of laughing.

Saturday we ventured to Six Flags.
Wes was just as excited as a little kid on christmas morning

and then theres Paige and i.
and our fear of big-scary-plunge-to-your-death roller coasters.

Stone says I don’t like them because I’m too fragile.
he's right.

we decided to ease into it all by riding one of the "less intimidating" roller coasters
and cow.

i didn't open my eyes once.
it was scary but most of all.. it was PAINFUL.
i held on for dear life. my neck and body flopping every which way.

after that, paige and i stuck to water rides, ice cream eating and picture taking.

oh and flying around in our superhero capes:

we wore these the whooole day

i love big fulfilling weekends. and i've had a lot of them the past couple of weeks.
my body's a little tired, but i've loved it, so no complaints here

i love college friend visits!! :)

looks like you girls had a blaaaast!

sometimes icecream eating and pic taking are better than riding rides haha

Awwww, I never went to SixFlags because I'm a total chicken. It's always fun being with friends and reminising old times! :)

Six flags is waay too much for me. I'm more of a One flag person.

bahahaha please tell me your wore those capes through a good chunk of the day?!

I wish I had been there because I would totally have ridden roller coasters with poor lonesome Wes. I act like I want to die pre-ride then act all big and bad like it ain't no thang after.

I just recently came across your blog and wanted to let you know I'm glad I'm not the only one afraid of the "less intimidating" roller coasters. I'm too scared to even scream so I just keep my eyes shut and hold on for dear life! Glad you made it out okay :)

still haven't been to six flags - i'm "too fragile" for roller coasters too. maybe the secret is wearing a cape like that!
