walk it out!

we had a very happy thanksgiving
we like celebrations. and family traditions.
so this year was no different.

our give thanks celebration is always hosted at our house in Connecticut
and it always lasts all day.
first starting  with a big family walkiepoo.
which is optional.
and well, i'd always opt out.
because November is cold and my warm bed just sucks me in.

but my dad is all about tradition and i knew it would make him happy.
so i did it!
i bundled up and joined.  and i'm pretty glad i did.
i've been missing out on so much.
so many photo ops. and of course my dad's minute of silence.
where we are all silent for 1 whole minute and are to think of everything we are grateful for.

it was fun because we walked the path by our old, old neighborhood
and passed the little places in the woods my dad, brother and i used to
build tee-pees, campfires and and all sorts of naturey fun goodness like that.
