ba pa pa pa ba pa pa pa

saturday afternoon, stone and i visited a little place called the World of Coke.
we both have really wanted to go and since its just a little drive away, we did it!
it was pretty neat, all the old memorabilia and advertisements.
and of course hearing a bit of the history and how it was created right here in Atlanta!
and how coca cola was only available in a pharmacy. craaaazy

Norman Rockwell painting.. who was commissioned to create 6 paintings. coke has 3... 3 paintings are still missing!

and then.... we gained some top secret knowledge about how coke is made
and since i'm not one for keeping secrets...

taaa da. you . are . welcome

after the little tour we went into a big tasting room where you could try every coke product made all over the world. Italy and china. Mexico. Uganda, Thailand, Germany, England, Bulgaria, Greece. everywhere.

so that was pretty fun. and filling.
but italy, really...
"Beverly" was the worst thing we have ever.tried. the aftertaste. eeek terrible
we stood there for a little and watched poor, innocent people sample it as well.
aaaalll our reactions were the same
and then we sampled it again. i don't know why we do things we do sometimes

Have a great week!

this is SO AWESOME! I did something similar to this in Epcot in Disney they have a place where you can try different cokes

beverly. That just sounds gross. Sounds like the name Bertha. And Bertha is such a gross name (no offense to anyone reading this named Bertha)

What a great weekend trip - I love doing little day trips like that sometimes. It's just so fun to play tourist :)

Thanks for the coke recipe, time to start my own factory ;)

I love the world of coke! And the Beverly is indeed disgusting! I knew what it tastes like from having gone when I was little, so I acted like it was good and made my fiancé taste it...hilarious! He hated it!

I didn't get to go to the Coca cola factory last time I was in Atlanta but it's on my list! I've heard the Beverly was horrible! My friend compared it to drinking someone's b.o. So nasty! You're cray cray to try it a second time!!
