i hate cancer

it doesn’t care who you are. what you look like, where you live or how old you are.  it's never good. but sometimes, the outcome can be.  this friday, we are supporting a friend of ours, a local Georgia tech grad, in her fight against breast cancer.  28 years old and Cancer chose her. and she has chosen to fight it. with rounds of chemo, with radiation. with a double mastectomy. it’s not easy. and it’s not cheap. but this life of ours is so short and much too precious to just give up without a fight.

if you live in Atlanta,  come and join the W-girls Atlanta & myself this Friday, March 16th at Olde Towne Tavern & Grille in Buckhead.  **all proceeds will go to Amy Hosier for her treatment and reconstructive surgery**  tickets will be sold at the door for $20, and will include a free drink ticket and a raffle ticket to win the event giveaway.  also, a silent auction will be held.  among the many items, i could not be happier to have had clutches and jewelry sent in from two of my favorites ladies in this little blog world – poshlocket and k.slademade

if you have a business, and would like to donate a good/service/product please email me here for more information. i would forever be thankful!

Wish I was in Atlanta and could make this event. How sad, 28 years old? Ugh. Wishing her all the best!

I definitely wish I was living there. I would love to go to this! Cancer has taken its toll on many family members and this sounds like such a great cause.
