10 Christmas things!

1. i finally got to see my long lost semester at sea sister for the first time since August! walking out of the airport it was like hi mom! hi dad! and then once i saw bri, i just cried. which turned into a chain reaction. sister crying. mom crying. but not dad.  he's our rock. somebody's gotta keep it together.

2. while visiting my nana, my dad's mommy. she caught our attention with a couple of things. like knowing who Keith Urban is and using the phrase "baby's daddy." so there's that.

3. brunch with a high school friend of mine in a tiny bakery, in a tiny town also included the ESPN camera crew filming some people. but that is a story for a different day

4. Christmas morning we woke up to snow on the ground! well, we  really woke up to my dad, walking around to each of our rooms jingling bells but then! then, we noticed the white snow

5. the most perfect dreamboat of a camera arrived from the North Pole on Christmas day. i was not expecting you, camera! so that left me in tears again, but happy ones

6. i found a box of my old stories and journals from first grade which were pretty fun to read and some old pictures too. one of  my parents. they were {are} so cute!  like little polo models

7. i'm a nook owner! thanks to a mom & dad of mine. but right now, I'm test trialing it and using my sisters. i'm trying to figure out if i can say goodbye to real physical books with pages you have to fold

8. we discovered my brother is in a magazine! Country Weekly.  along side Dustin and band of course.

9. Christmas evening we watched How the Grinch Stole Christmas. ah! the the Grinch as a little boy! it hurt our hearts. we also learned that Cindy Loo Hoo is played by Taylor Momson who played Jenny on Gossip Girl.  sooo now you know

10. my room at home has not changed since high school. and i like that. its like frozen in time

I got a canon too! Such a happy, happy moment! And you seriously just freaked me out but telling me Cindy Loo Hoo and Jenny are one and the same...

Sounds like you had a very Merry Christmas!

My hubby was making me look at grown up pics of child stars from famous Christmas movies the other night, but I was so sleepy I had already taken my glasses off. I THOUGHT she was Jenny, but knew better than to ask the hubs - he'd just look at me like I was crazy as he clearly doesn't watch GG. :-)

it was such a sad day when my mom moved out of the house I lived in during HS - goodbye sweet band posters on the wall!
