charlie claus
helped us human people find a really good
Christmas tree the other day. in fact, the first one we opened we were
like
YES! we like you. but had to open a couple of more just to make
ourselves feel
better. you know, confident that we were getting the very best one. and
then after doing so, we went back to tree number one. so we lugged the
seven and a half foot tree right back home and by we, i mean stone.
three flights of stairs and all. a little branch trimming, some twists
and turns to secure in the tree stand and hoooray! it was sitting up
right, all on its own! that night i remembered, i don't really like
putting lights on the tree. its like come on already! can we plug them
in and be done so we can see how good it looks and decorate?! i also learned, charlie
is a bit confused by the tree skirt. what is this red beautiful blanket
thing that looks so good to chew? so, we will see how long it can make
it. i've given him my slippers. and a pair of my shoes. so just
pleaaaase don't take the tree skirt. so far, so good. but then again,
it's only December 5th...

YAY! TREE!! Our Dog decided to make this tree skirt his box for his toys...either that or he is hinting that he wants new toys under the tree for Christmas day. Either way - we have a bunch of doggie toys under our tree.
So Glad you guys found a tree :)
