a beachy winter wonderland. the best kind

our time in manomet was good! i had a feeling it would be. and hey, it was also white! snow graced us with its pretty presence saturday night which had us jumping  away from the comfy couch and fire and outside to play in it. i'm not sure if i have ever seen it snow there. i feel like that's something i would remember. that night we went to sleep watching the snow fall right from bed. so peaceful. maybe even better then falling asleep to rain. the next morning i was happy to see the snow stuck and wanted to hang out for a while. it was early when i woke up, since that's what working and the real world has done to this body of mine, so while the house slept,  my camera and i decided to explore the snowy roads and beach.  it was just beautiful. seriously beautiful. ooo. but seriously cold too. so when my fingers felt like they were going to fall off, i figured it was probably time to go back inside. but i will tell you.. to be in a manomet, with snow on the ground, my parents, our friends visiting from alabama and Austin, i don't think i would have wanted to spend the last few days of 2012 any other way.  eeexcept maybe with a brother and sister. but that happened too!, just in boston for new years eve

I can't wait to go to the snow - It snowed in some parts around here during december but we always get a pretty good snowfall during Jan-Feb and sometimes even into march. Of course we have to drive up to the snow because here in Downtown San Diego - we don't see anything but sun and ocean! haha.

I am glad you had a beautiful trip, sounds like a lot of fun! :)
