savannah is for lovers

photo via laura catherine photography

this past weekend we traveled to Savannah, Ga to celebrate the marriage of stone’s one and only favorite brother to his one and only bride to be.  it was such a beautiful day and weekend and everything actually. even the weather, the sun and warmth hugged us all weekend long which was a nice change to a weird spring georgia has graced us with.

i haven't been to a wedding since i was probably ten little years old which is sort of crazy i know, so this particular ceremony. oh it just got me. i had multiple pep talks with myself to just keep it together. but to see two people who love each other a whole lot make such special vows to one another, under God,  it was the most beautiful. it just made it all even more real to me, how powerful those words are and why it embodies what marriage is about.

i was so happy to get to be apart of such a special day in the prettiest of cities i've laid eyes on. and that i got to celebrate all the love and happiness with happy people and the grooms best man, who just so happens to be my best man too!

so cheers to the newlyweds and also to wedding cake and peach bellinis. i like you very much

i like YOU very much! you two are gorgeous and you're so sweet that he's his brothers best man and your best man.

giiiiiirl! how have you not been to a wedding since you were 10?! thats the wildest thing i've ever heard!

ps - please forgive me for being a terrible emailer. i dropped my phone in a bucket of water on friday so it spent some time in a rice bowl (thankfully its working!!) and the whole using the computer for email doesn't happen. :)
