beachy evening powwows

summer evening powwows, they are our thing! on this particular night, stone, mom, dad and i jumped in the car with our beach gear still on and cocktails in hand [gin and tonics for the ladies, beer for the gents] and headed about 3/4ths of a mile down the  beach road to my cousins house. my cousins happen to rent the old gem of a beach house my family used to many moons ago, so its always like stepping back in time when we go there. and a million memories and things for me to point out and stories to regale stone with. so the rest of my family loves gathered their drinks and cheese and crackers and humus and such and we made our way down to the beach for another evening powwow. the sun was slowly disappearing and we were in one big bunched up group chatting and laughing and it was just so nice. really good for the soul

Beach bonfires with family are truly one of THE BEST things ever about summer. xo
